History

CALSPro has been around since 1970 and has a long and distinguished history in educating legal support professionals, fighting legislation that would affect a person’s constitutional due diligence.

Leadership

Most if not all of the influential leaders are or have been a part of CALSPro.

Education

CALSPro’s Education Committee conducts seminars, workshops and CCPS exams for the industry on the continuing changing and complex issues on process serving and other legal support topics.

Legislation

Our aggressive legislative programs over the last forty years have helped shape the civil procedure and discovery process. We continue to fight to ensure a citizen’s right to due process and access to the legal system.

Events

CALSPro puts on bi-monthly Educational events, conducts quarterly Board Meetings and holds an Annual Conference each year.

CALSPro Conference

CALSPro holds a Conference in the fall each year. This conference allows members of the legal support industry to join together to network; receive current information and take part in discussions involving the industry and CALSPro business items; attend continuing education seminars; take the Process Server Certification Exam and see the latest in products and services.

New Member Orientation

There is a New Member Orientation Meeting at each conference which gives new members the opportunity to learn more about the programs available through CALSPro.

Membership Directory

The membership directory is available in two formats: printed and online. The printed directory is currently available to members only and the online directory is available through the public area on the CALSPro Web site. Both directories are used as a referral source to locate a member for various services.

Quarterly Newsletter

The CALSPro Press contains articles relating to the four cornerstones of the association: Education, Legislation, Membership and Conference which include specialty articles and sections relating to industry issues, details of upcoming events, a Capitol Report which provides members with current information on legislative issues, plus information on suppliers who can provide services and products to the legal support industry.
